The CIA left explosive material on the Loudoun County school bus after a training exercise. The bus drives elementary and high school to and from school. The material was sitting on in the engine compartment.

The training was to help explosive-detecting dogs. CIA officials say that the explosives “did not pose a danger to passengers on the bus.” The explosives were also put in schools so the dogs could detect them. Although the dog found the materials hidden under the hood, some of it got lodged in and feel deeper. In my opinion the dog is still suppose to find all explosives so the fact that this piece was missing shows the dog did not complete the task. The CIA did apologize and are concerned about the safety of the students. Although mistakes do happen this is one that truly should not be made.
