Wednesday night was historic and epic for basketball fans. Though the Warriors set a new record with a 73-9 season, it was Kobe Bryant who stole the show. #MambaDay took over as Kobe put on his uniform and laced up his kicks for one final game.
Kobe finished with 60 points, the oldest player ever to do so. He led the Lakers to a win, and went out as only he could.
His family joined him on the court to celebrate. He kissed his daughters and shared a special, adorable handshake with his youngest, Gianna.
The Lakers presented Kobe and his wife Vanessa with matching retirement rings. *photos in gallery above*
