P-Dice, a former member of Fetty Wap’s Remy Boyz crew, has just been arrested and charged with attempted murder for accidentally shooting a 7 year old boy. The boy was inside his house when a stray bullet came piercing through the window and striking him in the shoulder. Full story after the jump.
According to the Paterson Press, 29-year-old Justin Pope, aka P-Dice, was arrested Friday afternoon in connection to the shooting in which a stray bullet wounded Jaiden DeLeon on February 29.
The little boy was playing with his sibling at home when a stray bullet came through the window and hit him. Authorities say there is no indication that Dice was trying to hit anybody in the home.
The shooting took place on Rose Parks Boulevard in Paterson, NJ, a street known for gun violence. Seven year old Jaiden’s mother, Diana Irizarri, has reportedly moved the family out of the house:
“I’m so excited. My whole family is happy about this. I give props to the Paterson Police Department. They did their job.”
In addition to attempted murder, P-Dice is also being charged with weapons offenses and possession of a defaced firearm.
