They say death comes in threes. After the world mourned the loss of wrestling diva Chyna and the legendary Prince last week, today we have lost yet another amazing soul: singer Billy Paul has passed at the age of 81.

The Philadelphia native had a storied career and released multiple albums since the 60s, hitting it big with his single “Me and Mrs. Jones.”

Billy Paul passed on Sunday in his New Jersey home after his battle with pancreatic cancer. RIP.
