Hear about the body that washed up on Brooklyn beach Monday morning with concrete on the feet? Reportedly, the man was an affiliate of Bobby Shmurda’s GS9 crew and was a high ranking member.
According to DNA Info, the body was 28-year old Peter Martinez and was found wrapped in plastic bags with duct tape on his face and 100 pounds of cement covering his feet. Martinez had a pregnant girlfriend, was missing for three weeks and apparently owned someone money.
Investigators believe Martinez’s murderers put his feet in a bucket and then poured the cement in to give him “cement shoes”. According to officials, the killers “botched” the job because air was let in and caused the body to float to the surface of the water. The investigation is still ongoing and no arrests have been made yet.
