After Drake debuted at no. 1 on the Billboard charts with a record breaking 245.1 million streams in it’s first week, more good news for Drizzy keeps flourishing in. This time around it’s that he’s finally achieved a feat he’s been gunning for all his career, to sell 1,000,000 legitimate copies first week.

Drake took to his Instagram to express his gratitude for doing so well in the first week of his album’s exclusive Apple release.

Traditional album sales reportedly made up 852,000 U.S. copies, and the album was streamed approximately 245.1 million times in the U.S. Those streaming numbers translate into the equivalent of 163,392 album units, totaling 1.04 million copies.

No artist has sold this high in the first week since Justin Timberlake’s 2013 album The 20/20 Experience did 920,000 copies.
