In November 2015 a Brooklyn Park police officer was attacked and struggled to get away form his attacker. The video footage of the of the altercation has been released. The video reveals a desperate struggle to survive as a man wanted on an outstanding felony warrant grabs for the officer’s gun. Check out the video after the jump.

Police footage was released on Thursday and captures officer Sean Hyman yelling and screaming for help as he was being attacked by 25-year-old Lance Carr. Carr began punching and choking officer Hyman.

Hennepin County jurors watched the compelling video and convicted Carr of felony assault of a police officer.
