Johnny Depp and Amber Heard are known to have their marital problems, but now it looks like it has come to a head as Amber has filed for divorce just three days after Johnny’s mother passed.

Multiple sources tell TMZ, that the divorce is stemming from a huge fight Amber and Johnny’s mom got into and it wasn’t the first time. Apparently Johnny’s whole family “hated” Amber for “treating him like crap” including his mom, 2 sisters, and 2 teenage kids. Amber and Depps’ mother, Betty Sue Palmer, had two prior closed door sit downs to discuss family matters, mom telling Amber to her face she is a “terrible person”. Their relationship never got better.
Recently Johnny moved his mom into the compound where he and Amber live, and she believed Heard was just using Johnny for his fame and money to boost her own career. Reps were also told Johnny only saw his mom once since he and Amber eloped.
Amber filed for divorce on Monday May 23rd, three days after Betty Sue Palmer’s passing. No prenup was signed and Amber is asking for spousal support.
