It’s summertime, so you know what that means for Chicago. Chance the Rapper said it best: “I heard everybody’s dying in the summer so pray to God for a little more spring”. We could only hope things get better.

The real sad thing about this whole situation is the fact that young people always fall victim to this. Out of the 4 pronounced dead, the oldest one was 27 years old. The youngest one was 15 year old Veronica Lopez who was just sitting in the passenger seat of a car when a black Nissan pulled up and opened fire.
Mark Lindsay, 25, was the first victim. He was sitting in his parked car when he got shot several times in his chest. He tried getting away but crashed into another car and was pronounced dead about 30 minutes later.
