Last Sunday (July.31) in New Orleans, Toya Wright’s brothers, Rudy and Josh Johnson were both maliciously gunned down and fatally shot to death. Upon hearing the news, the reality star, her daughter, and Wayne all rushed to New Orleans to be with the rest of her family. On afternoon Friday, Wright and the rest of her family said their final farewells to the slain family members and did so with a customary Jazz Funeral which is a tradition in New Orleans.
On Friday afternoon, Wright and family hosted a private funeral ceremony to say their goodbyes to both men, who leave behind three siblings, their mother as well as their children. In footage captured from the Jazz Funeral procession, Wright and other members of the party can be seen dancing in the streets and taking part of the longtime tradition.
Our prayers and thoughts are with Wright and family during this difficult time. As of now, no suspects have been arrested in connection with the murders.
