Lawrence Taylor is a very lucky man; although he did get busted for a DUI, he escaped jail time because the bust came exactly ONE day after his six year probation in his sexual misconduct conviction ended.
The NFL Hall of Famer filed an application to end his probation early a few months ago, according to a rep for the Rockland County DA’s office. The DA’s office was against it, but a judge granted the request and ordered his probation terminated on September 1, his DUI arrest came on September 2. Just 24 hours earlier and the DUI arrest would’ve triggered a probation violation and jail time for Taylor.
It’s possible LT was excessively celebrating the judge’s decision when he got into the alleged drunken crash.
