A woman by the name of Lyric YourAdorable Scott on Facebook says her father was shot four times by police in Charlotte, NC.

In a video we can hear the woman say,

“The police just shot my daddy four times for being black. They tased him first and then shot him.”

The woman also Facebook live’s when she found out her father was pronounced dead. Authorities were in the process of getting an arrest warrant when the shooting occurred. Police at the scene say the man “posed an imminent deadly threat to officers” after they say that the man was armed. Police say in a police report,

“The subject got back out of the vehicle armed with a firearm and posed an imminent deadly threat to the officers who subsequently fired their weapon striking the subject,”

Contrary to the police’s story, witnesses say the man was just reading a book. Police say they tried to do CPR to revive the man but he died on the way to the hospital.
