Tragedy has struck the boxing world as well known 25 year old Scottish professional Mike Towell died. The boxer passed away after being carried off in a stretcher from the fight. The British welterweight title final eliminator between was stopped in the fifth round by referees. Our hearts go out to the family and loved ones of Mike Towell. After collapsing in the fifth round in the bout against Dale Evans Mike Towell was rushed to the hospital by authorities. Sadly Towell would eventually succumb to his injuries and pass away. “Iron Mike” the 25 year old champion will always be remembered for his strength and resilience. No official reasoning has been given for the death as an autopsy is pending. Our hearts go out to his family, loved ones, and fans around the globe as we all get through this tragedy together.
