After being released in February as a TIDAL-only exclusive, Kanye West’s The Life of Pablo has been certified platinum. The project later expanded to other streaming platforms, but has thus far remained only a streaming album, which makes the sales and consequently its platinum status that much more significant.
Though Ye did promise that hard copies of TLOP would eventually hit stores, they never materialized, and he’s already at work on the next project. At least we got updated versions of the songs on the album along the way!
