Coolio just may have dug a deeper hole for himself as he was a no show today in court. The L.A. County D.A. filed a charge against the rapper after he tried to bring a loaded gun through LAX security.
In September, Coolio was pulled off a plane after the gun was found in his backpack. One of his team members tried to take the rap for Coolio but police were not off it. They knew who it really belonged to. His lawyer tried to explain to the judge that the rapper had a performance and could not make it back in time. The judge cut him some slack BUT he must appear in court in the 26th. If convicted, Coolio can face up to 3 years in prison.
