There was a 5 hour tribute show in St. Paul for the late Prince. Some of musics great’s came out to perform as well.
It took nearly 6 months to put together, but this huge Prince tribute show was a success. Even though some names pulled out, it was still a heavy show. Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, Tori Kelly, and Jessie J were just some of the few legendary names that graced that tribute stage. John Mayer, Anita Baker, and Christina Aguilera cancelled at the last minute but the show still went on.
Of course you have to end the show with “Purple Rain”. There was also a recording of Prince’s voice saying I love you which I could only imagine would send chills through the stadium.
