On Thursday during the their annual ‘Revolt Music Conference,’ Miami Beach Mayor Philip Levine honors Diddy with his own day. Oct. 13 will now be known as “Sean Diddy Combs Day” in Miami.

Diddy posted,

Thank you to Mayor Levine for making October 13th Sean “Diddy” Combs day in Miami!!! #RMC2016 is where it’s at this weekend!! Get here!! RevoltMusicConference.com

Diddy is actually the founder and chairman of Revolt TV. He started the music conference three years ago as an opportunity to bring some of the hottest industry names together for panel discussions, music performances, and general networking events.

Diddy released a statement saying,

“I was really hoping it would be this. I was hoping that it would be a platform for new, young and up-and-coming artists and executives and creatives.”

Diddy wasnt the only artist that Miami showed love to. DJ Khaled also received the keys to Miami. He tweeted,

“I love Miami. To get a key to the city—Miami Beach. You know, I already have a key to Miami, so it’s just more keys! Each key leads to the next key.”

Much respect to all the artist out here paving ways for the up and coming. Gotta respect the hustle.
