We recently lost Atlanta rapper, Shawty Lo in a car accident. The cause of his death is now being revealed. Lo died due to blunt force trauma to the head after his car went over the guardrail, hit trees, and caught fire. TMZ states that the rapper reportedly had painkillers on him and smelled like alcohol at the time of the crash.
The Fulton County Medical Examiner found a prescription bottle on him labeled Promethazine. However, the bottle was filled with Percocet and Vicodin. It was reported that the two women who were with Lo in the car asked police if they could take money out of Lo’s pockets and were allowed to do so.
Such a tragic passing. Lo left behind 11 children. Fans recently were looking to sign a petition to get a street name in honor of the legendary rapper. The streets of Atlanta will definitely miss Shawty Lo.
