Last week, Nicki Minaj shared a video of herself on her knees, bowing down to Lauryn Hill – who she was finally meeting for the first time. Nick has always named Lauryn as one of her biggest influences, along with other female rappers like Foxy Brown, Lil Kim and more.
We all saw how the Kim story played out, however, but Nick and Fox have always remained in a good space. Apparently, Foxy got a similar greeting from Nick when they met, and decided to share the video of Lauryn and Nicki with a caption about when they met that threw some shade at others – presumably Lil Kim.
