USA will be soon bringing us a new crime series entitled Unsolved. The series will revolve around the murders of Tupac Shakur and the Notorious B.I.G. The director of ‘People v. O.J. Simpson,’ Anthony Hemingway will be directing and executive producing. This looks like a must see.

The show will be centers around two police investigations including the experiences of former Los Angeles Police Department detective Greg Kading. Kading released the book Murder Rap: The Untold Story of Biggie Smalls and Tupac Shakur Murder Investigations in 2011. He was also the head of several task forces that were working on solving the murder.

Hemingway is no newbie to the big screen. He also directed episodes of Orange Is the New Black, Empire, Glee, and The Newsroom. He recently won an Outstanding Limited Series Emmy for his work on The People v. O.J. Simpson and also a nomination for the episode “Manna From Heaven.” To put the icing on the cake he Hemingway also directed the 2012 film Red Tails and now this. The man is out here moving.

Pac and Big’s murder will also be the focus of the forthcoming Labyrinth, Brad Furman’s new film starring Johnny Depp as late LAPD detective Russell Poole.
