Waka Flocka has just announced he is officially a free agent. This came after a long fight with Atlantic Records. Waka took to Twitter to thank all his fans and speaks on how good it feels to be free.
Waka tweeted,
I’m officially a free agent‼️ I just wanna thank every mother fucking one of my fans‼️‼️‼️ No Label‼️ I wanna personally thank every fan that called my old label ??? ?it my nigga‼️I’m building back up now mufuckaz‼️
Waka has been going back and firth with Atlantic for a min for refusing to release his album Flockaveli 2. Back in October, he tweeted,
“The first thing the label asked after I got shot is — ‘can you go to the studio,’ From that day forward I knew my label didn’t care I’m just another dollar sign.”
He even tweeted the labels number and asked all his fans to call them directly and ask for his album to be released. The last album Waka released was Triple F Life back in 2012. He told fans that Flockaveli 2 was complete back in 2013 but Atlantic never really showed any signs of releasing. Well now that all that is over, Waka can drop as much as he wants.
