NYPD officers are now being investigated after they raided a home searching for a suspect and ended up raiding the wrong home. The officer then took a photo via Snapchat and posted it with the caption “Merry Christmas, its NYPD.” It took the officers three hours to realize they had the wrong home.
The family is now demanding answers. Kimberly Santiago says the officers are showing people that they are crooked and do not take their jobs seriously. Internal affairs is investigating the matter but they refuse to release the names of the officers involved. Kimberly Santiago and her family says the photo popped up twice in the NY story feed found on Snapchat. The second photo posted says “warrant sweeps, its still a party. smh” This is terrible. These officers don’t even deserve a job. Santiago feels violated. The officers even had the wrong address. She says the officer does not deserve to be a officer and I totally agree with her.
