Atlanta rapper Yung Mazi who is known for collaborating with Kevin Gates and Young Thug in the past, was shot in the chest inside a waffle house early this morning. He’s expected recover at a local hospital, but the unknown shooter is still at large.
MAzi was shot once in the chest shortly after walking into Waffle House at around 3 a.m. and sitting down to place his order. Restaurant employees told 11Alive that he was with several friends at the time of the shooting and that they rushed him to the hospital as soon as their friend was shot. No description of the shooter has been provided by police yet.
