Kevin Durant makes his highly anticipated return to Oklahoma City tonight, which is sure to be must see TV. He will walk into the arena wearing colors of the opponent and will spend time in the visitors locker room for the first time ever. It is sure to be a surreal feeling for him and the longtime Thunder fans and just in case some of those fans are a little too rowdy, Durant took the advice of Rich Paul and Lebron James and decided to bring extra security with him.

Both James & Paul know full well about going into a extremely hostile environment with fans who have hatred in their blood.

A heightened armed security team has been procured, tripling the normal amount of security personnel the Warriors typically travel with, league sources told ESPN.

“It’s definitely going to be emotional,” Durant said Friday, later adding, “I’m not going to change how I prepare, [not going to] change how I play. I’m going to play my game and worry about basketball. That’s all I can do.”

Most people around the league believe the crowd in OKC won’t be that bad towards Durant but you can never really know until the time comes for him to be out on the court. Personally I’m hoping they give him a big reception for everything he did for them and the city but the extra security measures are a good way to prevent anything extra from happening.
