The Hip Hop Hall of Fame Museum is working on bringing a memorial statue of Christopher Wallace, also known as The Notorious B.I.G, to Brooklyn, New York. Those organizing this project hope to place the statue at Putnam Triangle Plaza in Clinton Hill, close by to where the rapper grew up in the Bedford-Stuyvesant area of Brooklyn. The statue is six feet tall and it’s of the late legendary rapper’s face and was created by Tanda Francis who is a Brooklyn based artist. Read the rest of this story after the jump!
Streaming Service Spotify Gets Sued Over Notorious B.I.G Image
Dutch photographer Dana Lixenberg is claiming copyright infringement over the use of her photo. She says that Spotify has committed copyright infringement by using her photograph of the late hip-hop star Christopher “Notorious B.I.G.” Wallace and now she has officially filed her claim with the courts.

Though it’s not actually his event, the event is curated by Brianni Taylor, and dubbed as “a celebration of the polarizing figure—honoring his vision and cultural impact through West-themed art and music.”
