Here we go again! Let’s back track a bit first, though. Pusha T’s “Exodus 23:1” seemed to go at Lil Wayne. He immediately took offense, and came back with his own diss. Then later, Wayne said he didn’t really care for the beef and kept it moving. Pusha made it loud and clear that he didn’t care what Drake or YMCMB thought either. In the meantime, “New God Flow” came out from the G.O.O.D. Music camp, another track that seemed to diss Wayne and Drake. However, Pusha actually clarified that it was for Birdman! Then just the other day, he said himself the stuff with Wayne is “not about a diss.” It’s definitely about something, though, as he’s made it quite clear in this cut off Ludacris’ forthcoming Ludaversal album. The funny/interesting part is that Swizz Beatz is on this track as well, and he’s the one that produced Wayne’s diss to Pusha. (Photo) Damn! Ryan Leslie Ordered To Pay The $1 Million He’d Promised For Laptop; NY Post Calls Him A “Rap Weasel”
In late 2010, singer/producer Ryan Leslie’s laptop was stolen while at a show overseas. As with many musicians, R. Les had a LOT of unreleased content on there, and went into panic mode to have it returned. He quickly offered up a monetary reward for its safe recovery, and soon upped the ante to $1 million when no one took the bait. Alas, 52-year-old Armin Augstein recovered the goods and promptly got Ryan his laptop back, but almost two years later, Ryan has failed to live up to his end of the bargain. Armin has since filed a lawsuit against him for the promised $1 million…plus interest…in NYC. More below. Marisa Mendez
Joe Budden Finds Concert Attendee Talking Crap On Twitter & Kicks Her Out (She’s BAD Too…Check The Pics!)
“It’s just Twitter,” says everyone…though they know they never mean that. Last night turned out to be an interesting one on the social network, after Joe Budden kicked a young woman out of his concert in the Bay Area after she’d sent a barrage of tweets dissing him before the show and while there. The interesting part is, she never @’d him in her tweets. Meaning…he had to have been searching his name. Or, was she already cool with people in his camp? As you’ll see in the gallery, she was tweeting with one of Joey’s good friends/a guy that’s on tour with him…Ice. So though yes, he does search his name (we knew this already), it’s possible that Ice saw the tweets and alerted Joe. Either way, the topic that’s been debated on Twitter since the incident…was he wrong and “corny” for doing so? I say no. This isn’t bias because that’s my guy, let me make that clear! I look at it like this: she definitely wasn’t a FAN…she made that very clear on Twitter. She didn’t want to be there, and she’s likely going to be one of those people that while others are turnt up, singing along with you…she’ll be sitting there with her arms folded, looking like she had a gun to her head to be there. Liken it to having a house party. It’s YOUR party, right? What if one of your friends brings one of their friends, and that person is on their Twitter, talking crap about you,…
Hmm…Did Bobbi Kristina & Her Controversial Boo Nick Gordon Break Up?!
Bobbi Kristina and her boyfriend Nick Gordon haven’t exactly received her family’s blessing to be a couple, as he was long ago taken in by Bobbi’s late mother Whitney Houston, and should be looked at as more of a brother to her than an object of affection. It didn’t help that they thought he’s just a leech looking for some money and/or fame. Despite an engagement earlier this fall, the Houston family may be able to breathe a sigh of relief now, as judging by both Nick and Bobbi’s Twitter posts, it appears they’ve called it quits. Chris Brown is once again the center of controversy after quite an angry and crude exchange with a comedic writer on Twitter, followed by bringing back up “Rihannagate,” before deleting his Twitter as a whole. He’s stayed active on Instagram since then, however, and yesterday made note that the only person he can relate to is no longer here: Tupac. Today, he followed suit with the above picture, rocking a bandanna on his head tied to the front, much like the style ‘Pac made hot back in the 90’s. He’s also been sporting a nose ring for the past year or so, another trend that can be credited to Pac. Breezy is an interesting character to say the least. Marisa Mendez
Billboard’s Top 10 Album Sales, Week Ending 11/26/12 … Congrats To Rihanna On The #1 Album!
Seventh time is a charm for Rihanna, who finally nabbed her first number one album with last week’s release of Unapologetic! The project moved 238k units in its first week out, putting her in a solid lead over Taylor Swift at number 2. Congrats, Rih! Get the rest of the top 10 below. Marisa Mendez
