The 2014 BET Awards are just a couple hours away and so far we’ve seen pre-show performances from DJ Khaled, Meek Mill, French Montana and Rick Ross, opening the show with “They Don’t Love You No More” and Ty$ and B.o.B who just got off the stage after performing their hit “Paranoid.” While the pre-show performances are getting hype don’t forget there’s a big show ahead of us tonight with host Chris Rock and more performances from artists like Jhene Aiko, John Legend, Lendisi and many more! After much speculation on Friday that the singer had been added to the lineup at the last minute, Chris Brown’s girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, confirmed to HipHollywood that Breezy will be gracing the stage at tonight’s BET Awards.

BET Awards weekend is in full effect in L.A., and with tons of stars in town, they all made their way to Russell Simmons’ weekly comedy show in Hollywood last night. Drake, Russell Simmons, Tony Rock, Steve Rifkind, Kenny Burns, Eva Marcille, Laura Glovan, Gilbert Arenas, Karrueche, Miss Diddy, Lil Twist, Kendall Jenner and more were in attendance for The Special BET Awards Weekend All Def Comedy Live. Taking to Instagram yesterday, Chris Brown’s main thang Karrueche Tran revealed that she’ll be hosting the red carpet of the BET Awards, going down this Sunday in Los Angeles. Contrary to reports that she’d booked the gig as BET’s “thank you” for getting Chris to perform, Kae confirmed via Twitter today that she’d been booked long before Breezy was even a thought. 2014 BET Awards Nominees Announced
The 2014 BET Awards will go down on June 29th in L.A., and today, the nominees have been announced. It’s the usual suspects for the most part, but what’s interesting is the Female Rap category – as you know there isn’t much to choose from these days.
