It’s just based off of God, whoever He wants to be next.” True to his word, Ferg’s been in the spotlight since then, seeing quite a lot of success with his current single, “Work.” Last night, he headlined his own show at SOB’s in NYC, and of course his CEO had to come out and show him love. A$AP Ferg Has Finally Signed That Solo Deal !!!
A$AP Mob members Ferg and Rocky are now label mates. Ferg signed his solo deal with Polo Grounds Music/RCA Records. A$AP Ferg’s first single as a signed artist will be “Work” on iTunes, January 22nd. Just days after Rocky’s LONG.LIVE.A$AP is to be released. Rocky comments on his boy getting the deal that he’s always wanted, “A$AP Ferg worked hard for this and I put all my faith and backing into him. I feel like ‘Work’ is our generation’s ‘Sippin On Some Syrup’ [by Three 6 Mafia and UGK] or ‘Chickenhead’ [by Project Pat, La Chat and Three 6 Mafia], it has that feeling.” We’ll see.
