Chance The Rapper’s “Acid Rap,” Album Of The Year?

Many self-proclaimed their records, ALBUM OF THE YEAR in 2013, but does it hold true?! This interview was done some months back, however it was still well pass the 2013 half-way mark. North Carolina femcee, Rapsody talked to Hip-Hop DX where she named, Chance the Rapper’s Acid Rap, album of the year. Now, many would co-sign this, but others would be ready for a debate on the statement, but agree or not, Chance is skilled. “It’s Hip Hop, but it’s also funky, and he sings on it, so he’s got all these different characteristics, ideas and sounds that he brings together and makes his own,” Rapsody says. “…he’s just natural, raw talent. The boy has a gift…,” she says about the Chicago performer. With albums such as, Nothing Was the Same, MMLP2 and more having dropped since Acid Rap, would Rapsody stand by her statement? This shall cause a war on who’s album tops, especially since I’ve ran across some not-so-great opinions on Chance’s verse for Justin Bieber’s “Confident” track. THOUGHTS! Who has album of year?
