Jeopardy has included popular hip-hop songs in their games over recent years, but last night was even more special. For their “Let’s Raps, Kids!” category, Alex Trebek actually recited the lyrics to popular songs, including Drake’s “Started From the Bottom” (I see you, Mike Zombie!), Kanye West’s “Famous” and Desiigner’s “Panda.” I wouldn’t really call what Trebek did “rapping,” but it’s as close as the famed TV host will get. During last night’s episode of Jeopardy, contestants were required to guess the name of popular sitcoms based on clues surrounding their theme songs. When the Fresh Prince of Bel Air came up, Alex showed out. He even had a backtrack with him! This isn’t the first time Jeopardy has shown love to the hip-hop culture, having just recently included Nipsey Hussle as part of their questions, and even once having an entire category dedicated to Queen Bey. 76-year-old Alex Trebek is expecting to retire from being the host of “Jeopardy” within the next two years and there is already talks about who will be taking his place. So far there are a few names that are being kicked around including Anderson Cooper, but sources say that one person in particular is in the running to take his job.
