The 49th NBA All Star game did not disappoint the fans at all, with the West winning a shootout 163-158 over the East. Russell Westbrook and Lebron James both set the tone early, with Russ finishing with 41 points and taking home the MVP trophy. James Harden, Steph Curry and many other players all showed out and the fans in attendance and watching on tv got to see a show. Check out some of the best plays of the game.

The stars are putting on the type of show you might expect to see at the Mecca of it all, as the West leads at halftime 83-82 over the East. There have been some dope plays so far, including Lebron setting things off with a tough alley oop, which was eventually followed by Steph Curry & James Harden hooking up for a mean throw down as well. Russell Westbrook is the star of stars so far though with 27 points and a couple jaw dropping plays.

D-Wade & Gabrielle Union seem to have a very good, fun loving marriage. To keep it that way, Dwyane says he plans on taking his wife to see “Fifty Shades” Because as he tells it, “I want to learn some new things”. He also made it a point to say he is the one taking her, before she tries to say it was the other way around. “I’m married, you have to keep up” he said before going on his way. When it comes to a long term relationship or marriage you definitely have to keep up and try new things. Sounds like it will be a fun weekend for him in more ways than one.

Lebron arrived in NY today and sat down for an interview with his BFF, Dwyane Wade and among the questions asked was about Bron’s lack of participation in the dunk contest during his career. Every year fans have wanted him there and hoped for the miracle, only to be disappointed. Turns out according to Bron, the dunk contest just isn’t his thing. I have to call BS on the King though. He loves the element of competition and he said during the interview there were years he watched the contest and was mad at himself for not getting in it. My opinion is Bron just knows if he ever lost an event like that he would never hear the end of it, so he rather just let it be.
