AT&T Wants To Use AirWaves To Do WHAT?!?!?

Many smartphone users use their phones to watch movies and their favorite TV shows, in which they are using a two way broadband service. AT&T wants to create a new network that will be a one way broadband service to free up space. The new network will be called LTE-Broadcast.

AT&T Makes A Video On Texting And Driving

AT&T recently released a 35 minute YouTube documentary called It Can Wait. The video features stories of people who have firsthand experience of the effect of texting while driving.

WHAT…AT&T Buys Naming Rights To Cowboys Stadium!!

Next time you go to see the Dallas Cowboys play at home you will be visiting the AT&T Stadium. Cowboys owner, Jerry Jones, announced that AT&T has reached a multimillion dollar agreement with the team to buy the naming rights. Jones said the deal will enhance technology for their fans. Neither AT&T or Jones would discuss the terms of the deal but reports have said it is in the $17-$19 million per year range! If the deal reaches $25 million per year it will be the biggest football stadium rights deal in history. Congrats AT&T !!!

AT&T’s New Plan Will Allow You To Do WHAT?!

Most major wireless carriers lock their customers to their phones for up to two year which is annoying especially if your sick and tired of your phone. Now AT&T is giving its customers the ability to upgrade their smartphone or tablet EACH YEAR. The plan is called “Next” which will factor in the price of the new device with 20 monthly payments. The plan launches July 26 and will be available for new and existing customers eligible for upgrades. This new plan comes just one week after T-Mobile launches its bi-annual upgrade program “JUMP.” Coincidence .. I think NOT ! Oh and did I mention Verizon’s idea on letting its customers upgrade their devices twice a year? Let the upgrade battle begin.

Nokia Introduces A 41 Megapixel Sensor Smartphone!!!

So all the rumors leading up to Nokia‘s big announcement panned out to be true. The company in fact created a smartphone with a 41 Megapixel camera.
