NBA: Sixers Announce Ben Simmons Won’t Play At All This Season

image via: youtube Ben Simmons, the first overall pick of the 2016 NBA draft, who has not played a single minute this season yet for the Philadelphia 76ers, will be shut down for the season the team announced this morning.

Unfortunately its a tale that happens quite often and you never really know what the truth is or not. Did the person really change after they got some fame? Ben Simmons is currently dealing with that type of issue after his sister went off on a twitter rant about how he turned his back on everyone who helped get him to where he is today.


NBA: #1 Pick Ben Simmons, Fractures Foot In Sixers Practice, Likely To Miss A Couple Months

The Philadelphia 76ers franchise just can’t catch a break. Their first round picks almost ALWAYS win up hurt and Ben Simmons is no exception. The first player taken in the draft back in June, Simmons will now miss anywhere from 6-8 weeks after fracturing a bone in his right foot.

The Philadelphia 76ers haven’t had much luck with rookies and their injuries; most notably is Joel Embiid who missed his first two years in the league with a foot injury.  While Embiid is ruled out for summer league, 2016 No. 1 draft pick Ben Simmons made his debut, unfortunately it wasn’t a great one.
