Earlier today, NYC mayor Bill de Blasio called into Ebro In The Morning to discuss his plans to fix the current decline in academics in the city’s schools, as well as to inform parents on how to get their kids registered for pre-school. Along with jokes about Ebro’s old age (happy 40th, old man,) Mayor de Blasio also discussed the recent McDonald’s brawl that went viral, where a large group of young girls brutally beat a 15-year-old. This past Monday NYC Mayor Bill De Blasio signed a Bill that will lower NYC speed limit to 25 Miles Per Hour. The law will affect most NYC streets and begins on Friday November 7, 2014.
Today in NYC, Rev. Al Sharpton and Mayor de Blasio with family joined a crowd of about 100 people who marched from Harlem to Midtown towards the Nigerian consulate in protest in order to urge officials to bring back the 200 plus girls who were kidnapped and sold into marriage late last month in Nigeria.
