Billboard’s Top 10 Album Sales, Week Ending 6/28/15 … Tori Kelly Debuts At #2!

Last week, both Trey Songz and King Los released new projects…and neither fared very well on the Billboard 200. Though Trey is very much in the public eye and constantly played on radio, Trigga Reloaded only did 17k in its first week, landing at 23. However, I do believe this was a re-release, so that’s not too surprising. Los, on the other hand, moved 8k units of his new God, Money, War, landing at 68. With no machine behind him (aka a major label), no radio play and no real promo, I’d say this is a pretty solid number. Beats Troy Ave and Tyga, that’s for sure! Also debuting this week is everyone’s new fav Tori Kelly, whose debut album Unbreakable comes in at number 2 with a solid 75k sold! Nice! Check out the full top 10 below.

A$AP Rocky is now two-for-two with number one albums, as his sophomore effort At.Long.Last.A$AP. tops the charts this week with 146k units sold! This is his first release since his debut Long.Live.A$AP, which debuted atop the tally dated February 2, 2013 with 139k copies sold. Suffice to say, Pretty Flacko‘s still got it! Another big debut came from Boosie Badazz, whose first post-prison release, Touchdown 2 Cause Hell, comes in at number 3 with 64k units sold. Congrats! Billboard’s Top 10 Album Sales, Week Ending 4/26/15 … Congrats To Yelawolf On A #3 Debut!

Following up his 2011 debut Radioactive, Yelawolf‘s sophomore effort Love Story arrived at number 3 this week on the Billboard 200 with 58,000 units sold. This by far surpasses Radioactive with both Billboard peak and first week sales, as it came in at number 27 with 41k. Also having a good week on Billboard is Drake, whose If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late climbed up from 10 last week to 4 with 48k units – thanks in large part to the physical version being released to stores last week. The Numbers Are In! Find Out How Much Young Thug’s ‘Barter 6’ Sold The First Week!

Though Young Thug touted the controversial Barter 6 as just a mixtape, it was still made for sale on iTunes like Drake’s If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late – but unlike Drake, Thugger’s did not sell very well. After one week, Barter 6 debuts at a measly 26 on the Billboard 200, with just under 19,000 sold. In comparison, last week’s other semi-surprise release – Tyler, The Creator’s Cherry Bomb – sold 58k and debuted at number 4. Hopefully Thugger’s official debut fares a little better. Billboard’s Top 10 Album Sales, Week Ending 4/12/15 … Furious 7 Soundtrack Races To #1

Currently on its fourth week in stores, the Furious 7 soundtrack has sped up to number one on the Billboard 200 this week, moving another 111,000 units. The project is being fueled by the mega success of its lead single – Wiz Khalifa’s “See You Again” with Charlie Puth. The song plays during the final scene in the movie, and sold 464,000 downloads for the past week. Wiz also recently premiered the video, as well as performed it on NBC’s The Voice, both of which also helped immensely. Elsewhere on the chart, Kendrick and Drake still remain comfortably in the top 10. Meanwhile, last week’s number one album, Wale’s The Album About Nothing, falls to number 11 in its second week with 33,000 units sold. Check out the full top 10 below!

Billboard’s Top 10 Album Sales, Week Ending 4/5/14…Congrats To Wale On #1 and Ludacris On #3!
