The #MannequinChallenge is a fun social media trend that has been huge for the last week, with participants ranging from the high school kids who started it, all the way to Hillary Clinton. Recently, comedians King Keraun and Simone Shepard were crowned with “winning” after they did an R. Kelly “Trapped In The Closet” inspired clip, but a new Black Lives Matter-inspired challenge may really take the cake.

Last night, #BlackLivesMatter activist DeRay Mckesson was arrested during a peaceful protest in Baton Rouge. Like thousands across the nation DeRay was contributing in spreading awareness to the injustices that members of the minority community go through at the hands of U.S. police. Unfortunately the protesting led to his arrest. Now many celebreties are tweeting #FreeDeRay in support of him and his brave efforts.
