Although Gucci Mane is currently serving a bid until 2016 for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, that’s not stopping the ATL native from blessing our eardrums with some new music. Some audio surfaced of Gucci saying he’ll be coming out with some new music. “June 17th, 1017 empire is declaring war. I’m dropping a “World War 3D” series — three albums in one day,” Gucci says. These will consist of Migos’ The Green Album, Young Thug’s The Purple Album and PeeWee Longway’s The White Album. But that’s not all! Gucci is also coming out with Trap House 4 on July 4 and Trap God 3 on September 13. BUURRRRRRRRRR! Listen to the full audio below.

This Is DOPE! Waka Flocka Performs In Fraternity’s Living Room After Rain Ruined Show

Hearing stories like this reassures us that there still are some artists out there who genuinely care about their fans. Waka Flocka is currently on the road for his college tour and made a pit-stop at the University of Alabama to hit the stage. However, it was down-pouring so hard that the concert was canceled. Luckily, the BSM representative didn’t let that stop the fans from catching him perform. Waka took his talents over to the fraternity Delta Chi’s living room to put on a show live and direct for the students. He apparently drenched the crowd with champagne while performing his popular tunes. What a guy! BRRRRIIICCCKKKK SSSQQUUUAAAAD!

Kayo Redd’s Mother Debra Antney Speaks Out; Reveals Final Moments & Possible Reason For Suicide

It has all but been confirmed that Waka Flocka’s younger brother, aspiring rapper Kayo Redd, died from a suicide over the weekend. The official autopsy report should come at some point this week, but that is basically what his family and police are saying. The news is heartbreaking in itself, but adding in the fact that Debra Antney (Waka and Kayo’s mother) already lost a son (their brother) in 2000 from a car crash, that makes it that much harder. “He had just left my house and he headed down the street and the next thing I knew was my son was dead,” the Mizay Entertainment CEO said in a phone interview yesterday afternoon. Debra was naturally fighting back tears as she spoke, explaining that her son had been struggling with the fact that he couldn’t help take care of her the way that Waka was doing. He had an upcoming eye surgery that was troubling him as well. “My son was a good kid and I never had any problems with him,” Debra said. “I just don’t know why he would do such a thing?” It’s so, so sad…and truly goes to show that you NEVER know what someone is going through. Scrolling through Kayo’s Twitter, he seemed excited about the mixtape he’d recently released, Red Kisses, and the weekly radio show he was involved in. Little did the world know the demons that he was facing inside. Let’s make sure we are talking to our loved ones daily! RIP, Kayo!

Update In The Death Of Waka Flocka’s Brother, Kayo Redd: Cops Leaning Toward Suicide

As reported earlier, Waka Flocka’s younger brother, aspiring rapper Kayo Redd, was found dead in Atlanta late last night. Police have been investigating the death, and though it is not 100% confirmed just yet, they are almost completely ruling out any foul play, and believe it to be a suicide from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The autopsy will be conducted later today. RIP, Kayo.

Waka Flocka’s Brother Kayo Redd Found Dead; Nicki Minaj & More React

Waka Flocka has lost another brother. Yesterday evening, his younger brother and aspiring rapper, Kayo Redd, was found dead in Atlanta. Details are scarce right now, with some reports saying he was murdered, and others calling it a suicide. Their mother, Mizay Entertainment’s Debra Antney, took to her Twitter shortly after the news was revealed, sadly tweeting, “I lost another son.” Waka raps about the death of his other brother on his breakout song “Hard In The Paint,” when he says, “When my little brother died, I said ‘f*ck school!’” He was killed in a car accident in 2000. His close friend and artist, Slim Dunkin, was murdered almost 2 years ago to the day in Atlanta as well, and with him and Gucci Mane falling out this year too, things cannot be easy on the Brick Squad rapper. RIP to Kayo, and condolences to Waka and the family!
