Don’t call it a comeback they’ve been here for years! LL Cool J Squashes LEGENDARY Rap Feud With Canibus. The two reunite on stage after a 17 year dispute. LL Cool J and Canibus were friends In the beginning .In fact, Canibus was a feature on LL Cool J’s song “4,3,2,1.” However, there was a dispute about one of Canibus’s bars, which LL Cool J thought was disrespectful. He told Canibus to take off the verse which he did. Eventually, a leaked version which contained a Canibus diss was circulating and the two carried on their feud in other songs including “Second Round K.O”,“The Ripper Strikes Back” ,“Back Where I Belong,” and “Rip the Jacker.” Check out their performance below

Over the weekend, we ALL saw the career-damaging video of Canibus…who has a legacy built on battle rapping…pulling out a NOTEPAD during a battle and if that’s not bad enough, still losing! A rather bizarre apology claiming to be from the rapper hit the web later that week, blaming like…secret agents or some wild ish like that. Canibus Takes Back Diss; Apologizes To J. Cole

Well, that was quick! And it should have been. Canibus was completely out of line for his diss to J. Cole. If you’re not familiar with the situation…Cole is and always has been a huge Canibus fan, stating that in almost every interview and playing some of his older songs at the beginning of a lot of his shows. Canibus was mad that Cole doesn’t play his newer stuff, so he made a diss record saying he’s not REALLY being genuine and showing love. What?! Even though J. Cole has named Canibus as one of his favorite rappers, Canibus is not amused. According to Canibus, Cole talks the talk but doesn’t walk the walk– he might praise him and say in his interviews that Canibus is one of his favorite rappers, but when it comes down to it, Cole shows no love. “He isn’t nearly as sincere or genuine as he would like real hip hop heads to think he is,” Canibus said in a statement earlier today.
