Kerry Rhodes should have followed in the footsteps of Chris Bosh and Adrienne. He shouldn’t have said anything when the rumors first started. When you don’t talk, people can’t really say anything more about you. Well, now he’s learning a lesson. I said it before and I’ll say it again. I feel bad that he is being forced into this position. He should be able to come out on his own terms – but it’s too late. Long story short. Some suspect pictures of Kerry Rhodes and his “assistant” surfaced that had people thinking he was gay. I really don’t like covering this story because I can’t stand people that are judgemental. I just don’t understand why people care so much about someone’s sexual orientation??? Earlier this month we shared the story that 4 current NFL players are thinking about revealing that they are gay. While it would be great for the gay community, it could cause problems for those individuals because of close minded fans. MTO got their hands on a few photos of a popular NFL player that is currently a free agent. He was on a vacation with a male friend and they seemed pretty close. We don’t know all the details. It could just be his friend or relative OR they could have been joking around – but the pics are being used as “proof”. For the record, MTO did not say he is gay, they insinuated it. I like this guy and if he is one of the four, I feel bad that he couldn’t come out & reveal the info on his own terms…AND if he’s not gay, now he has to do rumor control. No win situation.
