Fetty Wap, The Weeknd and Drake & Future Are STILL Killing It On Billboard

Fetty Wap, Drake/Future and The Weeknd have been hanging out comfortably in the top 10 on the Billboard 200 since their respective releases, proving they certainly can stand the test of time and hype. DJ Khaled and The Game, however? Eh, not so much. Their projects have all fallen out of the top 50 since their releases in the last few weeks, with Khaled being the most recent at just two weeks ago. After debuting at number 12 on last week’s chart, I Changed A Lot has dropped a steep 69% in sales this week. Sheesh! That’s not to say any of these projects can’t bounce back after a televised performance, continued touring and/or another hit single, though, so don’t fret! And shout out to Bryson Tiller, who though not in the top 10, has been steadily selling at least 20k a week of T R A P S O U L since it’s release last month! This kid is definitely not going anywhere! Check out the full top 10 below. Next week we’ll finally get back to sales forecasts, as Ty Dolla $ign, Jeezy, Justin Bieber, Alessia Cara and A Tribe Called Quest all drop this Friday!

Adele Becomes The First Artist To Sell 1 Million Singles In A Week

Adele is breaking records left to right with her new single, “Hello.” After it was revealed that the UK songstress is on pace to move over a million units of the album “Hello” will live on, 25, now the official first-week sales of the song are in, and they’re also in the 7-figure range! “Hello” kicked off with a whopping 1,112,000 downloads – completely killing the record for most downloads sold in a week, previously held by Flo Rida’s “Right Round” at 636k in February 2009. The song also got an impressive 61.6 million streams in the U.S., becoming the second highest number ever since streaming began being counted in March of 2013. (That record still belongs to Baauer’s “Harlem Shake,” which peaked with 103 million – mainly because of all of the fan clips made dancing to the song.) 25 hits stores November 20.

WHOA! Adele’s New Album Is Projected To Sell How Much Its First Week?!

Adele is very, very lit right now. The superstar singer hasn’t released an album since 2011’s 21, so the hype around the forthcoming 25 is insane. So much so, early sales projections based on pre-orders have the first week numbers looking to be in the realm of 1.3 to 1.8 million! Yes, million! This would make for the biggest debut from a female artist of all time, beating out the record previously held by Britney Spears when Oops!…. I Did It Again sold 1.5 million in its first week in 2000. N*Sync holds the record for the biggest first week sales of all time with 2.4 million copies sold, though – do you think Adele could beat that? I wouldn’t be surprised! Pre-order 25 on iTunes here. The album hits stores November 20.

The Game comes in at 6 with The Documentary 2.5 selling 48k, which is pretty dope – considering last week’s The Documentary also sold really well.
