NFL: Common Says Rex Ryan Should Coach Bears & Makes Super Bowl Prediction

Chicago native, rapper and actor, Common is big on his hometown teams including the Chicago Bears and Chicago Bulls.  Black Monday saw a few head coaches let go which means the coaching carousel will commence.  Bears head coach Marc Trestman was fired as well as New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan.  When asked if Ryan should become the new head coach of the Bears, here’s what Common had to say.

The Mavericks won a 132-129 double-overtime thriller in Chicago on Tuesday, but the Bulls probably feel like they should have won it in regulation.  Leading by three, Kirk Hinrich fouled Monta Ellis behind the three-point line with 1.2 seconds remaining. It’s the smart play, allowing two free throws instead of a potentially game-tying shot — provided the foul is committed on the floor before a shot can be attempted.  Hinrich waited too long, however, and Ellis was able to get into his shooting motion as he was fouled. The result was three free throws, and Ellis sank them all to force the first of two overtime sessions.

NBA: Say What? Carmelo Anthony Says Chicago Was “Perfect” For Him

Chicago must not of been so perfect cause Carmelo Anthony is still wearing the blue and orange of the Knicks, but the fact that he is speaking about it now has to make you wonder if he is regretting his choice. Carmelo had the world at his fingers this summer as he went on a free agent tour, focusing on the Knicks, Chicago and Houston. The Knicks could pay him about $30 million more than any other team, so he took the money and stayed in NY, despite them being a mediocre team at best.
