He had worked for years to be one of the better high school wide receivers in the nation and his work paid off with a full scholarship to UCLA. Cordell might have had the talent but he didn’t have the love for the game and we wondered what might be next. In a somewhat shocking move, Cordell Broadus, son of Snoop Dogg, has decided to quit football and leave the UCLA team before he ever played a single snap. Broadus was an incoming freshman and one of the more highly rated wide receivers in the country coming out of high school, but apparently he has other ideas for himself.
