(Video) Ne-Yo Comments On Roscoe Dash’s Recent Twitter Rant About Wale & Kanye West Song Credit

Last week, we all watched as rapper/writer Roscoe Dash had a bit of a Twitter meltdown, fed up with his lack of credit on songs he’d had a hand in. The target of his rage was mainly Wale and Kanye West, with Roscoe being upset no one knew his writing was behind the hit “Lotus Flower Bomb” as well as a couple Kanye and G.O.O.D. Music album cuts. During a recent chat with The Source, fellow entertainer and songwriter Ne-Yo served up his opinion on the situation. He also discusses his album name change and more. Watch below. Marisa Mendez

The Drama Continues: Meek Mill Comes At Roscoe Dash For Going At Wale; Miguel Adds His Comments

Earlier this afternoon, things got pretty crazy on Twitter. Roscoe Dash got fed up with not getting “credit” for songs he allegedly had a hand in, and wanted the world to know what’s up. He named Kanye West and Wale as the main culprits, the latter for his hit single “Lotus Flower Bomb,” featuring Miguel. Roscoe said he wrote the song, it went number one and his name was never added to the mix. Wale didn’t say too much following the claims, just a kind of “SMH” type of tweet. He also apparently hopped on the phone with Roscoe ASAP, making sure in the midst of his whining, he clears up what we figured he meant…he wrote the HOOK to the song, not Wale’s verses. Knowing Wale’s personality, he probably ripped Roscoe to shreds. LOL! Then Roscoe shared a link to a story from Complex, where they exclusively spoke to Miguel, who sings said hook. He completely plays Roscoe too. Ha! Then Meek Mill had to hop in, as he previously had an issue with Roscoe anyway so this was right up his alley. Check out all the tweets below. Roscoe needs to quit crying! Marisa Mendez

Roscoe Dash Goes In On Kanye West & Wale On Twitter For Not Crediting Him For Writing Their Songs

Roscoe Dash just can’t seem to get on the right page with the MMG camp, and now apparently the G.O.O.D Music crew as well! Previously he went head to head with Meek Mill on Twitter over Meek’s alleged involvement in the Chris Brown/Drake brawl, but that was eventually cleared up. Now he’s steaming mad all over again, this time at Meek’s labelmate Wale, as well as Kanye West. Kanye’s new video explaining the creative process of Cruel Summer is what set him off, prompting him to go further and add Wale in as well. Apparently, Roscoe had a hand in songs for both artists, but neither gave him any credit whatsoever. Ouch. I doubt Yeezy will reply but Wale is never one to keep his mouth shut so let’s see what he says! Roscoe’s full rant below. Marisa Mendez

Auto Talk: Obama Proposes Higher Tax Credits For Alternative-Fuel Vehicles

President Barack Obama proposed expanded tax credits and community research grants to make alternative-energy cars and trucks more attractive to buyers. Electric, natural gas and hydrogen-powered vehicles would be covered by the plan, which Obama announced today in the battleground state of North Carolina. Click below to read the story. Funk Flex Find Flex On Google+ Obama called on Congress to make two changes in tax law to coax drivers into less-polluting vehicles. One would raise the tax credit to $10,000 from $7,500 for the purchase of a so-called advanced vehicle. The credit would be applied instantly at the dealership. The administration’s goal is to make electric vehicles as affordable and convenient as gasoline-powered vehicles by 2020. But the proposal comes as some automakers struggle to sell models powered by alternative fuels. General Motors will idle a Michigan plant for 5 weeks starting this month because of growing stockpiles of the Chevrolet Volt, a gasoline-electric hybrid. “We need to invest in the technology that will help us use less oil in our cars and our trucks, and our buildings, and our factories,” Obama said. “That’s the only solution to the challenge. Because as we start using less, that lowers the demand, prices come down. Pretty straightforward.” The average retail price for a gallon of regular gasoline was $3.76 as of Tuesday, according to the American Automobile Association. That’s up from $3.51 a year ago. AN
