As the flash floods continue, hundreds of thousands of people have been forced to evacuate and leave their homes and personal belongings behind in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. (The flooding has been in most of these places since Irene hit almost 2 weeks ago!!) Counting my blessings that my home and family are okay and sending my prayers to the families and people deeply effected by this mess! Over 580,000 customers still without power after Hurricane Irene!!

Wow, this is crazy!! Slightly more than 580,000 customers along the East Coast from North Carolina to Maine are still without power as a result of the damage caused by Hurricane Irene, according to estimates released Friday by the U.S. Department of Energy. My thoughts and prayers are with these people!! Hopefully you will get power back soon and your lives can get back to normal. @ItsLukieBaby
