As expected, there’s been some unfortunate incidents occurring with the athletes competing in the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Some Australian athletes were robbed during a fire evacuation in the Rio Olympic village, which is the athletes Olympic housing, and USA swimmer Ryan Lochte was robbed at gunpoint as well as several other incidents. Carmelo Anthony, however, walked through the favelas (the Brazilian slums) and got a mural painted of himself.

As part of the NBA Global Games initiative, the Chicago Bulls and Washington Wizards traveled to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for a preseason game. During their downtime the players of course went sightseeing throughout the country but Al Harrington decided to go beyond the tourist attractions. Read more after the jump.
