Amil Talks About That Fake Twitter Account, Nicki Minaj, And What She Wants From Jay-Z

Back in the 1990s and early 2000s rapper Amil was the first lady of Roc-a-fella records and when Roc-a-Fella records disbursed she seemed to disappear until recently. Earlier in the week I was on Twitter and came across this account posing as Amil that was saying the most absurd things I’ve read in a long time. Amil has denied that it was her saying the crazy things on the Twitter account saying that Twitter and Facebook aren’t for her. Whomever was running the twitter account used it to say some not so nice things about Nicki Minaj, Foxy Brown, Kanye West, Beyonce, and former boss Jay-Z. The real Amil sat down with VIBE to say how she really feels about Nicki and what she wants from Jay-Z @Julie1205

(Classic Video) Foxy Brown F/ Jay Z ”I’ll Be”

I’ll Be” was the second single released from Foxy Brown’s debut album, Ill Na Na, produced by the Trackmasters and featuring Jay-Z. Released on March 4, 1997, “I’ll Be” quickly became a huge hit, peaking at 7 on the Billboard Hot 100, at the time becoming both Foxy Brown and Jay-Z’s highest charting single. Two months after its release on May 2, “I’ll Be” was certified gold by the RIAA for sales of over 500,000 copies. To date it remains Foxy Brown’s only solo top 40 single and her only to earn a certification. Everyday at 5pm we post a classic video that meant something in hip hop.. Foxy Brown Speaks on Lil Kim and Nicki Minaj, Coming Out With New 2-Disc Album, Fashion Week Controversy and More

Foxy Brown recently sat down with Billboard to discuss some hot topics in music right now. First and foremost being the ongoing fued between fellow femcees, Nicki Minaj and Lil Kim. Fox is no stranger to Lil Kim beef, as the two have gone at it since almost the start of their careers over a decade ago. Even in a recent track Fox Boogie put out, she makes a few comments toward Kim. After the jump, find out why she’s #TeamMinaj, some info on her upcoming album and what really went down at Fashion Week (when she allegedly locked herself in a bathroom and wouldn’t come out because they wouldn’t let her perform). @MarisaMendez
