Philly’s own Freeway has been diagnosed with kidney failure during a routine doctor visit back in September, and it has been a rocky road since. He explains in a recent interview, Freeway gets into detail about the medical procedures he has to undergo to help treat him properly.

The Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival hosted several, unique events this past weekend, but nothing compared to the main show. The concert brought out some legendary artists as well as some new ones. While rising acts like Lion Babe and YC The Cynic took the stage during the day, major emcees like Mobb Deep, Skyzoo, Charles Hamilton, Freeway, Consequence, and Common rocked the mic until sundown.
