Bow Wow To Executive Produce ‘Growing Up Hip-Hop: Atlanta’

weTV debuted their new show, Growing Up Hip-Hop, earlier this year, chronicling the lives of budding hip-hop personalities who grew up in the spotlight because they had a famous parent. The New York-based cast included Angela Simmons (daughter of Rev Run,) Romeo Miller (son of Master P,) Damon “Boogie” Dash (son of Dame Dash,) Kristinia DeBarge (daughter of James DeBarage,) TJ Mizell (son of the late Jam Master Jay) and Egypt Criss (daughter of Sandy “Pepa” Denton,) and now the show will be getting an Atlanta spin-off.

Dame Dash’s Son Hit With DUI

Damon ‘Boogie’ Dash, Dame Dash’s son who has gained a name for himself in recent months while starring on Growing Up Hip-Hop, has been hit with a DUI. TMZ reports that cops pulled him over for weaving earlier this month, and felt like he might be under the influence while they were talking to him. His field sobriety testing did not go very well, and he was arrested for misdemeanor DUI. No comment yet from Boogie or Dame, but I’m sure he’s none too pleased.

WE TV To Air New Reality Series, ‘Growing Up Hip Hop,” Staring Angela Simmons, Romeo Miller & More

Similar to the Rich Kids of Beverly Hills, only a little less snobby, a lot more urban and music-related, comes the new WE TV reality docu-series, ‘Growing Up Hip Hop’. The six-episode docu-series from Entertainment One is scheduled for a late 2015 premiere, and will follow the offspring from hip-hop icons Damon Dash, Rev. Run, Russell Simmons, Master P, El DeBarge and Pepa from Salt-N-Pepa. Find out more below.
