(Photo) Lil Kim Praises Lil Mama For Her Tribute Performance

Lil Mama was one of the handful of women who were picked to pay homage to Lil Kim with a performance at the 2016 Hip-Hop Honors on Monday night. The Queen B has been taking time to individually thank each person with dedicated Instagram posts, and after a super sweet message to Teyana Taylor, she turned to Lil Mama. “@lilmama my Brooklynite sister! No one can deny how talented you are,” Kim began. Check out the full message in the gallery, and if you missed it, watch her performance below.

Teyana Taylor had arguably the best tribute performance of the night at VH1’s Hip-Hop Honors on Monday. (We can safely say that no one is saying that about Rich Homie Quan… LOL!) Tey really embodied Lil Kim’s entire aura when performing as the Queen B throughout the night, and even Da Brat was happy to shower her with praise following the show. Check out their interaction that night below!

Lil Cease Speaks On Rich Homie Quan’s Performance

We all watched Rich Homie Quan brutally murder the late, great Biggie’s verse on “Get Money” at VH1’s Hip-Hop Honors on Monday night. He’s since apologized, but that doesn’t mean people won’t continue to share their opinion. I mean – it’s freaking BIGGIE! How do you mess that up? Many of us still can’t wrap our heads around why Quan, an Atlanta artist, was chosen to represent for a Brooklyn legend – as so many others were around that could have done it. Hell, Papoose was even in the audience! There’s Fabolous, Maino, Joey Bada$$, we’d even take Desiigner. Another perfect choice would have been Lil Cease, for obvious reasons (though it would have never happened, for other obvious reasons,) and now he’s sharing his opinion on the matter as well.
