As the event brought together many of the music mogul’s colleagues, closest friends, and admirers, the entertainer was recognized with the Walk Of Fame’s 2,508th star. Those in attendance included old friends such as L.A Reid, Stevie Wonder, Andre Harrell, Toni Braxton, and none other than Diddy who also introduced the 90’s sensation! Sweet Thing! The Apollo Theater Will Be Honoring Chaka Khan For 40 Years Of Entertainment

This post excites me soooo much ! Not only am I a fan of her music but Chaka Khan has been in the entertainment business for over 40 years and she shows no signs of stopping. She is set to be honored at The Apollo Theater’s upcoming 8th Annual Spring Gala Concert. In celebration of her 40 years as a music icon, the singer will be inducted into the Apollo Legends Hall of Fame and will receive a plaque on the Apollo Walk of Fame. Hit the jump for more…..


IFWT Celebrates Black History Month: Honoring Benjamin Bradley

Benjamin Bradley was born a slave in 1830 in Maryland, although it was against the law for a slave to be educated, Bradley was educated by his master’s children. He would develop a skill in mathematics and for engineering. During his teenage years, Bradley began to develop what would become the first ever steam engine. He would eventually hold a job position at the United States Naval Academy were he would further develop the steam engine.
